There are many opportunities for you to become more involved in the Academy. We encourage you to consider joining one of the councils or committees listed below or applying for the Research review Committee Chair (formerly the Abstract chair) position.

Additionally, we are soliciting applications for the position of Research Review Committee Chair (formerly the Abstract Chair) for the 10th Annual Scientific Meeting, Feb xx-xx, 2010, in Clearwater, Florida. If you've attended AAHB meetings, you know how exciting it is to work together to make the meeting successful. The Research Review committee Chair(s) work with the Board on the poster sessions. Responsibilities include: working with a committee to send out the call for abstracts, to receive applications and to send them out for review, to notify applicants of the status of their applications, to set up poster tables and organize judging process. Applicants for the Research Review Committee Chair position should submit a paragraph to me stating their interests and qualifications by July 25.
