Additional (larger) Accomodations
A few different accommodations options are available for AAHB meeting at the Sea Pines Resort. A block of rooms has been reserved for the Academy at either the Inn at Harbour Town or the Harbour Town Villas:
- The Inn at Harbour Town is a 4-Diamond European Boutique Style Inn and winner of the Condé Nast Traveler "Top 50" US Resort Gold Award. The Inn offers personalized service and pampered
comfort with World-class sophistication and friendly hospitality. Each oversized luxury room
features 24-hour room service, full concierge service, soaking tubs and walk-in showers, golf or
tennis views, bathrobes and Internet access. - As a spacious alternative to the Inn, step into one of our VIP Harbour Town villas complete
with fully equipped kitchens, living rooms and dining rooms. All villas have separate and
private bedrooms and baths - In addition, for those bringing families or would prefer a much larger accommodation, there are 2-3 bedroom villas available (see below).
The Sea Pines Resort is a sizeable property (see link to map below). The AAHB meeting space is in the Harbour Town Golf Club, walking distance from the Inn at Harbour Town and from the one-bedroom villas located reserved for the meeting. A visit to the Sea Pines website provides an overview of the different types of accommodations.
INN/HOTEL COSTS
Room Rates (Inn at Harbour Town): $199/night + tax*
One bedroom Villas: $199/night + tax*
- Additional 19.5% "tax" includes combined state sales & accommodations tax and service fee
- Rates include daily housekeeping
- All Sea Pines guests receive preferred tee times, green fees and complimentary tennis
- There will be a $5 daily gate fee for any non-Sea Pines guest to enter the resort.
OTHER ACCOMMODATIONS AT SEA PINES RESORT
There are also 2 and 3 bedroom villas available - they work a little differently than one-bedroom villas.
To reserve the 2 and 3 bedroom villas, you must either reserve it directly through the Sea Pines website or call Sea Pines directly. You want to look/ask for villa/condos in in Harbour Town, which is walking distance to the Harbour Town Golf Club (where the meeting will be held). The prices below include daily housekeeping. However, much less expensive rates (up to $70/day less) are available via the Sea Pines website directly - look for villas in the Harbour Town area - however, the reduced rates do not include daily housekeeping. All villas come fully furnished with bedding and towels.
Most of the two bedroom villas have a king bed in one bedroom and two twin beds in the second bedroom, each with their own bath, full kitchen, living room, etc; however, there are some villas with two king bedrooms. The recently updated Sea Pines website now allows you to view photos of each available villa/condo. Again, remember to request the Harbour Town area. If you choose to secure the villa via the website, you may wish to contact Sea Pines after to let them know that you are part of the AAHB group.

$295 Water view; $245 Resort view (plus tax and fees)
Two bedroom for 3 or more nights:
$270 Water view; $220 Resort view(plus tax and fees)
Three bedroom for 2 nights:
$340 Water view; $290 Resort view(plus tax and fees)
Three bedroom for 3 or more nights:
$310 Water view; $260 Resort view(plus tax and fees)

Two bedrooms - range from $145-200 per night, plus tax and fees
Three bedrooms - range from $170-250 per night plus tax and fees

To receive the special AAHB room rates, reservations must be received by The Sea Pines Resort no later than February 6, 2009. A deposit for one night’s lodging and taxes must accompany this form. Any reservations received after this date will be based on availability. A confirmation letter will be sent once reservation is made. Guest will be responsible for all nights on this confirmation. If there are any discrepancies, please call immediately upon receipt or cancellation policies will apply.
To reserve one of the larger accommodations (2-3 bedrooms), you must reserve it via the Sea Pines website (www.seapines.com) or by calling Sea Pines directly. When you call for reservations, ask for villas in Harbour Town walking distance to the Conference Center. The Group reservationist knows our meeting location and she will do her best to accommodate special needs.

Our meeting and block of rooms are in the Harbour Town section -- look near the "N" in Plantation on the map. Harbour Town is the area below and to the right of the "N".
CANCELLATION POLICY
For a deposit refund, the reservation must be cancelled at least 30 days prior to arrival. Deposit refunds are
processed less a $50 administration fee. Reservations cancelled within 30 days of arrival will forfeit one night deposit. For cancellations within 48 hours of arrival, the guest is responsible for full payment of all nights of the reservation, including requests for shortened stays.
CHECK-IN/CHECK OUT
Check in time is 4:00 PM, and check out time is 11:00 AM. Sea Pines Resort is pleased to offer early check-in and late check-out at no additional fee based on availability. For a guaranteed early arrival or late check-out, the accommodation must be reserved for the extended period at the cost of an additional night’s stay.
